Most depended on small-scale farming with low returns, and financial institutions rarely lent to women without collateral.<\/p>\n<h3>ACEO Intervention<\/h3>\n<p>In 2021, ACEO established the &#8220;Tsehay Women&#8217;s Cooperative&#8221; with 30 members. We provided:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business management training<\/li>\n<li>Seed funding of ETB 500,000<\/li>\n<li>Market linkage support<\/li>\n<li>Financial literacy workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Results<\/h3>\n<p>Within two years, the cooperative achieved remarkable success:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collective annual income: ETB 2.5 million<\/li>\n<li>Expanded to 75 members<\/li>\n<li>Diversified into honey production, textiles, and food processing<\/li>\n<li>Built a community savings fund of ETB 300,000<\/li>\n<li>Sent 15 children to school with cooperative scholarships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Testimonial<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;For the first time, we control our own finances. We&#8217;ve built a daycare center for our children and started a community library.
