Our Evolution Timeline
The Beginning
Addaarroo Charitable Endowment Organization was founded in Guwnguwa, Ethiopia, with a vision to empower women and children through sustainable community initiatives. Started with small-scale women’s empowerment workshops.
First Achievement: Trained 50 women in basic entrepreneurship skills within the first year.
Expanding to Education
Launched our first children’s education program, focusing on early childhood development and school retention. Partnered with local schools in Oromia region to provide educational materials and infrastructure support.
Key Development: Reached 500 children with educational support programs.
Strategic Partnerships
Established partnerships with international NGOs and local government bodies. Expanded our reach to South Ethiopia region. Developed comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework.
Milestone: Registered 10,000+ beneficiaries across all programs.
Pandemic Response & Resilience
Adapted programs during COVID-19, providing emergency support to vulnerable families. Launched digital literacy programs and mobile health initiatives. Strengthened community resilience strategies.
Achievement: Distributed essential supplies to 5,000 families during crisis.
Strategic Plan 2025-2030
Developed our ambitious 5-year strategic plan aiming to reach 100,000 women and children. Focus on sustainable development, gender equality, and community-led initiatives.
Current Focus: Scaling proven programs while maintaining community-centered approach.
